had mine 3 years and its fine but it is 140hp,(bluefin remap) you will get lots of different opinions on here regarding the 1.0 ecoboost. some hate them , some like them. there are some ongoing issues with the earlier focus ecoboost with coolant loss.

This 1.0-litre EcoBoost is more capable than a three-cylinder engine has any right to be. Not only does it make the Focus feel grown-up, it helps it perform as well in town as on motorways.

I've an 18 plate 1.0 Ecoboost Focus with 140 BHP. I have had more Gearbox replacements than I can count (all under warranty) The engine mounts have failed at least 3 times, causing the engine block to drop out of the car in one of those situations, the Turbo has been replaced as well :)
