Venturing into The Deep Roads to fight Darkspawn quite often, possibly the most hostile area of Thedas. However, a Templar of similar skill is nothing to scoff at. The templar might be a venerated apostate Hunter, venturing into the harshest areas human call home to make sure demons don't call it home as well.

After investigation the new Deep Roads sub-area will be available on the World Map. You can choose to immediately "Venture Forth" from the War Table or use the World Map to enter the area. It should be noted that the primary optional quest revolves around finding Bloodstained Ancient Gears .
