The pet is the ranger's profession mechanic. NPCs that fight alongside the ranger, with their own user interface that can set basic behavior modes and activate a skill. Four pets in total can accompany the ranger (two for fighting on land, two for aquatic), but only one pet will fight at a time.
Beastmastery is a core specialization for the ranger that focuses on improving your pet 's abilities. Tier. Trait. Description. Minor Adept. Pack Alpha. Your pet 's attributes are improved and pet skills gain recharge reduction. Improved attributes are power, condition damage, precision, toughness, and vitality. Major Adept.
Neural.1824. Arenanet has stated in the past that the method of dealing with this is to use the report function and list it as "Inappropriate Character Name". They supposedly check the pet names, guild names, etc. through this, but no idea if they actually do that.
The part where you used the mouse cursor to "draw" a circle around the areas and waypoints on the map was a huge help for me. Full disclosure: I have a slight visual impairment so mileage may vary for others.
Like previously mentionned they are unlocked per characters - the exploration and collection aspect is reaaally fun, but for altoholics, it can become slightly less enjoyable ahaha. Ranger is the only profession in the game that actually requires active exploration to unlock all skills. Now lemme go back to unlocking all pets on my 7th ranger.
